Hourly wage: $18.25
Weekly hours: 40/week

Duties and Responsibilities
-Plant, transplant, and arrange orchid plants in greenhouse growing areas according to demonstrated procedures.
-Water orchids and other greenhouse plants using hoses, watering tools, or irrigation systems as directed by supervisors.
-Monitor orchid plants for visible signs of dryness, damage, pests, disease, or abnormal growth, and report concerns to the supervisor through demonstration or pointing out the affected plants.
-Prune, trim, clean, and remove dead leaves, stems, flowers, and other unwanted plant material to maintain healthy plant growth.
-Assist with harvesting orchid flowers or plant materials used for natural orchid extract production
-Sort, select, and separate healthy orchid flowers or plant parts from damaged or unsuitable materials during harvesting and handling.
-Clean greenhouse work areas, benches, walkways, trays, tools, and plant containers to maintain a clean and safe growing environment.
-Move plants, trays, pots, soil, growing materials, and harvested orchid materials within the greenhouse and production areas as required.
