Terms of employment: Full time Position (30-40 hours per week)
Wage: $16.00 to 19.00 per hour for 30-40 hours (depending on experience)
Location: 115 Main Street North, Moose Jaw, SK S6H 0V9
Expected Start Date: ASAP

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
• Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, which include sauces, soups, salads, vegetables, meats
• Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or special dietary requirements when requested.
• Keep kitchen and food handling area clean with proper regulation and procedure
• Weigh, measure and mix ingredients according to recipes or personal judgment, using various kitchen utensils and equipment
• Inspect and maintain the quality and freshness of seafood, meats, vegetables, and other ingredients before use.
• Maintain inventory and records of food ingredients, supplies and equipment.
• Receive and inspect deliveries to ensure food products meet quality standards.
• Place purchase orders and/or requisitions for procuring necessary, food ingredients, supplies, etc. required for menu preparation.
• Estimate expected food consumption and requirement.
• Maintain sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas.
• Train kitchen staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food

Position Requirements and Qualifications
• High school diploma
• 1-2 years of experience in commercial cooking
• Team player, Client focus and Flexibility
• Detail-oriented, Organized and Reliability

Work conditions and physical capabilities
• Repetitive tasks, standing for extended periods, Physically demanding, Fast-paced environment; Handling heavy workloads
