Weekly Hours: 40 hours per week
Location of Work: Rocky View, AB
Duties
-Supervise and coordinate daily farm workers in greenhouse, poultry, and general farm operations.
-Assign simple daily tasks and ensure work is completed properly, safely, and on time.
-Monitor workers during planting, watering, harvesting, sorting, packing, feeding, cleaning, and other farm activities.
-Check farm areas, greenhouses, poultry areas, tools, and equipment to ensure they are clean, safe, and ready for use.
-Assist workers with hands-on farm duties when needed to maintain smooth daily operations.
-Make sure workers follow basic farm procedures, safety rules, hygiene practices, and animal-care requirements.
-Report crop issues, animal concerns, equipment problems, supply shortages, or safety hazards to management.
-Help train new workers by showing them proper work methods and safe ways to complete farm tasks.
-Keep simple daily records of work completed, worker attendance, supplies used, and operational issues.
-Support management in maintaining productivity, quality, cleanliness, and order across the farm.
Qualifications
-High School Diploma
-1 to 2 years of related experience is an asset
