Job duties:
Accept cash, cheque, credit card or automatic debit payment
Operate cash register
Operate computerized inventory record keeping and re-ordering systems
Provide advice about merchandise
Advertise and/or promote products, sales or services
Provide customer service
Train staff
Assist in display of merchandise
Greet customers and discuss type, quality and quantity of merchandise or services sought for purchase, rental or lease
Maintain sales records for inventory control
Requirements:
Education: Completion of secondary school is required
Experience: A minimum of 6 months of visual merchandising experience is required.

Important Information: The position is full-time with varying shifts between 8:00 AM and 8:00 PM, with the possibility of extended hours up to 10:00 PM in the future. Typical shifts include morning (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM), mid-day (10:00 AM – 6:30 PM), and closing (11:45 AM – 8:15 PM). Shift lengths may vary depending on business needs. Weekend, on call and holiday availability is required, as staff may be scheduled on Saturdays and Sundays as needed.
