Role Overview
We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Web Designer to join our Vancouver team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing our digital presence, ensuring a seamless and engaging user experience across all web platforms.
Key Responsibilities
• Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to identify website requirements
• Develop and document website architecture and technical specifications
• Design website layouts, user interfaces, and user flows
• Create mock-ups, wireframes, and storyboards using design tools
• Source, organize, and integrate content into visually compelling website designs
• Develop and optimize web content using graphics, animation, and interactive elements
• Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams (design, development, marketing)
• Ensure website performance, responsiveness, and usability across devices
Qualifications
• Diploma or certificate (1–2 years) in Web Design, Digital Media, or a related field
• 1–2 years of relevant experience in web design or front-end development
• Strong understanding of user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) principles
Technical Skills
• HTML and web design fundamentals
• Figma, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator
• Familiarity with iOS and Android environments
• Experience with Jira or similar project management tools
• Comfortable working in Mac-based environments
Work Environment & Expectations
• On-site role in a fast-paced telecommunications environment
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
