Job Description

Position: Early Childhood Educator
Number of positions available: 1
Work Hours: 40 hours per week
Wage: $24.00/hour
Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent
Start date: ASAP
Vacation time: As per law
Work Location: 400 Brooksbank Ave, Unit 250, North Vancouver, BC V7J 2C2, Canada
Language of work: English

Job Duties
• Develop and implement child-care programs that support the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
• Lead activities such as storytelling, singing, creative arts, and educational play.
• Supervise children to ensure safety and well-being at all times.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment.
• Observe and document children’s progress and communicate with parents and guardians.
• Assist children with daily routines such as meals, dressing, and hygiene.
• Collaborate with other educators and staff to provide a positive learning environment.
• Follow all licensing regulations, health and safety standards, and childcare policies.
Requirements
• Early Childhood Educator (ECE) Certificate recognized in British Columbia.
• At least 1 year of previous work experience in the same or a directly related job position
