Position Details
Positions Available: 6
Employment Type: Full-time, permanent
Hourly Wage: $18.00
Weekly Hours: 40 per week
Location of work: Chilliwack, BC

Duties and Responsibilities
-Harvest mushrooms by hand carefully and efficiently according to size and quality standards.
-Sort, trim, and pack harvested mushrooms for storage and shipment.
-Load, unload, and move growing materials, trays, containers, and harvested products by hand or with basic farm equipment.
-Clean and sanitize growing rooms, work areas, racks, tools, and equipment.
-Remove damaged, diseased, or overripe mushrooms and dispose of waste materials.
-Perform repetitive lifting, carrying, bending, reaching, and standing for extended periods during daily farm operations.
-Assist with general crop handling and maintain cleanliness and order in production areas.

Qualifications
-No education requirement
-No experience requirement
-No Language requirement
-Able to perform physically demanding manual labour in a fast-paced farm environment without allergies or sensitivities to mushrooms, compost, dust, spores, or related agricultural materials.
-Able to lift, carry, push, and pull heavy materials on a regular basis
-Able to stand, walk, bend, crouch, reach, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods
-Able to work in humid, warm, and enclosed indoor growing environments
