Job Duties:
Load, unload, and transport construction materials
Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks shoring and barricades
Mix, pour and spread materials
Assist in aligning pipes during pipeline construction
Level earth to fine grade specifications
Clean and pile salvaged materials
Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites
Read and interpret blueprints
Requirements
Education: Not required
Experience: Experience is an asset. On-the-job training will be provided
Working under various weather conditions
Work conditions and Physical capabilities: Ability to distinguish between colours, Attention to detail, Bending, crouching, kneeling, Fast-paced environment, Hand-eye co-ordination, Manual dexterity, Physically demanding
Personal suitability: Flexibility, Judgement, Team player, Reliability.
Work Site Environment: Dusty, Noisy, Odours, Non-smoking
Weight handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
Language: English is required.
Salary: $27.00 hourly, 37.5 - 40 hours per week
Benefits: Dental plan, Disability Benefits, Health care plan, Uniforms and basic hand tools provided by employer. Transportation costs covered if worker needs to relocate. Transportation among work locations is provided by the employer.
Important Information: Work schedule is from Monday to Friday. From 8:30 am to 4:00 pm. However, flexibility on schedule is required as some days will start earlier, and others finish later depending on the business needs and weather. **We guarantee at least 30 hours of work per week regardless of the weather. Work on weekends and overtime may be required.
