Duties:
• Childcare services, including, but not limited to:
o Supervising and caring for the child in employer’s own residence
o Bathing, dressing, and feeding the child
o Instructing the child in personal hygiene
o Assisting with personal care for the child (diaper changes, toilet training, bathing)
o Planning, cooking, and serving healthy and nutritious meals for the child
o Overseeing activities, such as meals, playtime, rest periods, as instructed by employer
o Maintaining a safe and healthy environment in the home
o Tend to the emotional well-being of the child and support their social development
o Following the employer’s instructions and preferences regarding the infant child’s routine, discipline, education and health including keeping records of daily activities and health information regarding the infant child
o Providing age-appropriate educational training through organized activities such as games, crafts, reading and outings
o Taking the child to and from school, activities and appointments, as required
o Performing light housekeeping and cleaning duties including child’s laundry and tidying child’s room/play spaces
o Reporting any issues or concerns to the employer promptly and professionally

Requirements:
• Completion of secondary school is required
• Childcare experience is required, minimal 3 years’ experience caring for children, including toddlers
• Demonstrated ability to perform work is required
• Experience with cooking/meal preparation is required
• Infant / Child First-Aid and CPR training is required
• Must be reliable and have excellent communication skills
• Must be nurturing, attentive, and have effective interpersonal skills
• Proof of updated vaccinations required, including annual flu
