Main Duties

Disinfect pens, barns or poultry houses

Handling animals

Ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed

Clean stables, barns, barnyards and pens

Detect disease and health problems in crops, livestock and poultry

Perform general farm duties

Set and monitor water lines, air flow and temperature in barns, pens and chicken coops

Feed or assist in feeding

Experience and specialization
Equipment and machinery experience: Feeding and watering system
Automated systems experience: Bulk grain or feed handling - automated, Automated environmental control equipment
OTHER INFORMATION

Work Experience Required: Experience an asset

Minimum Education Required: No degree, certificate or diploma

Language: English workplace language

Wage Range: $19 per hour

Hours: 40 per week
