Job duties
-Greet customers, answer questions and offer assistance where applicable
-Operate a cash register and bag items for customers
-Handle payments via cash, credit card and debit 
-Process return transactions
-Discount price by redeeming coupons
-Reconcile cash drawer by counting cash at the beginning and end of the shift
-Confirm identity and age of customers when selling age-restricted items (cigarettes) or lottery tickets

Qualifications
-Completion of secondary school
-Prior cashier experience is an asset
