• Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-Time (30 hours/week)
• Salary: $28/hour
• Vacation Pay: 6% of gross salary (two weeks annually)

Job Requirements
• Languages Required: English
• Education: No formal education required; relevant safety tickets must be completed within 90 days of hire.
• Experience: Some general-construction labour experience preferred; prior abatement or restoration work is an asset.
• Physical Ability: Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs.

Job Description

• Support the implementation of asbestos-abatement and mould-remediation projects.
• Load and unload materials, stage supplies, and follow safe-work practices at all times.
• Assist in the removal of hazardous building components (asbestos, lead, mould) in accordance with established procedures.
• Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and ensure thorough cleaning and decontamination of tools and equipment.
• Participate in site contaminant cleanup, waste demolition, and disposal of hazardous materials.
• Maintain clear, timely communication with the Lead Hand to meet project schedules and safety standards.
• Contribute to a strong Health & Safety culture on every job site.
• Provide additional support with water-damage work and perform setup/cleanup tasks at job sites and the warehouse as required.
