Work Location: The candidate will work at three (3) of our resort locations: Sherwood Inn (1080 Sherwood Road, Port Carling, ON P0B 1J0), Rocky Crest Golf Resort (20 Barnwood Drive, MacTier, ON P0C 1H0) and The Lake Joseph Club (1072 Elgin House Road Port Carling, ON, P0B 1J0)
Type of Employment: Full time, 1 year contract
Estimated Start Date: Starts as soon as possible
Job Description:
• Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilating, plumbing and electrical systems, and contact tradespersons for major repairs
• Perform other routine maintenance jobs such as painting and drywall repair
• Assistance with troubleshooting Wi-Fi, TV and Satellite Radio
• Clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas
• Cut grass and tend grounds and plants
• Operate industrial equipment for seasonal floor cleaning, window cleaning and equipment cleaning
• Empty trash cans and other waste containers
• Wash windows, interior walls and ceilings
• Provide luggage assistance to guest rooms
• May move heavy furniture, equipment and supplies
• Set-up and maintain beach area equipment
• Ensure that security and safety measures are in place in the establishment
• Supervise other team members
Requirements:
• Education: Completion of high school is required.
• Experience: A minimum of 1 years of previous experience (or similar in trades, building maintenance) is required.
Working Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Standing for extended periods, physically demanding, Bending, crouching and kneeling, Fast-paced environment, Repetitive tasks, occasionally overtime is required, Attention to detail, Work under pressure

Salary: $22.85 hourly
Benefits: Shared accommodation provided at a cost (utilities included). Transportation costs covered if a worker needs to relocate. Uniform is provided at discounted rate.
Important Information: The position requires flexibility in the schedule. The employee will work a minimum of 30 hours per week, including day, evening, night, and weekend hours based on business needs. Overnight shifts would be the main shift.
