Job Details

Pharmasave #1043 is looking for a Full-time Pharmacy Assistant to assist in running its pharmacy operations and could join immediately.
Location: 334, 2nd Ave West, Prince Rupert, BC, V8J 1G6 (On-site, remote work is not available)

Positions Available: 1 (One)
Anticipated Start date: As soon as possible
Compensation: $22.80 per hour
Work hours: 30 hours/week
Terms: Term or contract, Full-Time
Language of Work: English
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Assisting licensed pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of prescription medications
Receiving, verifying, and entering prescriptions into the pharmacy management system
Maintaining accurate patient medication records and profiles
Compounding oral solutions, ointments, and creams
Managing inventory, ordering stock, checking expiry dates, and storing medications properly
Processing billing transactions and insurance claims
Providing customer service and responding to patient inquiries in person and by phone
Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe pharmacy environment


Skills and Education:
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Employment: 1 to less than 7 months
