Requirements: experience: min 3-5 years in roofing supervising/contracting with area of specialization: shingled roofs, modified bitumen flat roof system, modified roofing system, slate roofs, skylights, installation, maintenance, repair, restoration.

Work site environment: at heights, outdoors, work at various locations in commercial, institutional, residential roofing. Able to supervise 5-10 people ( roofers, shinglers, eavestrough installers, trades helpers, labourers. Personal suitability: organized, reliability, team player, leadership skills.
Tasks: Supervise workers and projects, co-ordinate and schedule activities, set up machines and equipment, ensure health and safety regulations are followed, recommend personnel actions, read blueprints and drawings, requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies leading/instructing individuals, ensuring quality of work and productivity of the crew, report progress to project managers, communicate with clients or homeowners when needed
