We specialize in growing pot-in-pot caliper trees, hardy shrubs, perennials, grasses and evergreens for the local landscape and garden centre industry.
We are seeking a motivated and energetic Irrigation Technician to join the team within our growing company.
Duties
· Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding work.
· Maintain a clean and safe commercial job site.
· Install, Maintain and repair irrigation systems based off of blueprints and specifications.
· Determine irrigation schedules for the purpose of providing adequate irrigation and appropriate water conservation measure are implemented.
· Inspect and winterize all irrigation systems.
· Desire to learn new skills and follow direction.
· Work under limited supervision.
· Have effective communication skills.
· Reliable and punctual.
Qualifications
· High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
· Irrigation Technician will be considered an asset.
· 2+ years of experience as an Irrigation Technician.
· Knowledge of irrigation and electrical timer systems.
· Valid Drivers License and clean Abstract.
