## Your Role
You will provide day-to-day support to residents, including:
* Assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming and toileting
* Mobility and transfer assistance
* Assistance with meals and hydration
* Support with daily activities and independence
* Observation and reporting of changes in residents
* Following care plans and workplace policies
* Supporting medication routines within your authorized scope of practice
* Maintaining care records
* Communicating with residents, families and team members
* Supporting a safe and comfortable living environment
* Following emergency and safety procedures

## Qualifications
* Recognized Health Care Assistant qualification in British Columbia
* Current BC Care Aide & Community Health Worker Registry registration, where applicable
* Ability to communicate effectively in English
* Ability to safely perform the essential duties of the position
At least seven months of previous experience is preferred but not required if the applicant meets the position's qualification requirements.
## Physical Requirements
The position involves direct personal care and mobility assistance, including transfers and support with activities of daily living.
Applicants must be able to safely perform the essential duties of the position. Reasonable accommodation will be considered where applicable.
