Position: Roofer Supervisor

Key duties and Responsibilities
• Oversee and organize the day-to-day work of roofers, shinglers, apprentices, and general labourers, ensuring tasks are properly assigned and completed.
• Plan and implement effective work procedures and timelines to ensure roofing projects are completed efficiently and within established deadlines.
• Inspect work in progress and finished projects to ensure compliance with blueprints, specifications, and building codes.
• Ensure all crew members use personal protective equipment (PPE) and strictly follow fall protection and workplace safety regulations.
• Estimate, requisition, and manage required roofing materials, tools, and equipment for each job site to minimize waste.
• Identify on-site structural issues, delays, or technical problems and implement immediate solutions.
• Co-ordinate work activities with general contractors, architects, or other trade subcontractors to prevent scheduling conflicts.
• Train new workers and apprentices in specific roofing techniques, equipment operation, and company policies.
• Prepare progress reports, track crew work hours, and maintain daily logs on project status and budget.
• Oversee the proper maintenance, inspection, and safe operation of tools, scaffolding, ladders, and machinery.
Requirements for the job
• Completion of secondary school is required.
• Need Vehicle as many locations no transit.
• Valid Drivers Licence.
• 3-4 years experience in Torch On Flat Roofing.
• Own Tools for Use including Torch, Harness and Fall Protection Gear
• Ability to work at heights and lift heavy materials.
• Attention to detail.
• Client-focused, time management, and reliable.
• A team player with a strong work ethic.
