In-Home Caregiver/Nanny needed for 2 school children for Beatty family (5,7). $20.00-$21.00 per hour for a 40-hour work week. Salary depends on experience. Overtime may be required from 45-48 hours and paid at 1.5 x per hour. Two days off per week on Saturday and Sunday. 2 years to less than 3 years of relevant professional childcare experience required. Minimum of Equivalent Canadian High School diploma required. Job hours are 7:00am-7:000pm, Monday-Friday. Mid-day Break. Job located in Holland Landing, ON(North of Newmarket). English language spoken and written, required. Work to take place in employer’s home.
Supervise and care for children in employer’s residence. Light housekeeping for children. Oversee children’s activities, such as meals and rest periods, as instructed. Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home. Instruct children in personal hygiene. Tend to the emotional well-being of children and support their social development. Discipline children according to the methods requested. Organize and participate in activities such as games, crafts, reading and outings. Take to and from school, appointments and activities. Homework supervision.
Good communication and decision-making skills are essential. MUST BE FLEXIBLE
