Job Description- We are hiring a full-time Construction Helper to join our team as soon as possible.
Responsibilities
• Load, unload, and transport construction materials, tools, and equipment to residential construction and renovation sites, and move materials to designated work areas.
• Assist carpenters and other skilled tradespersons with basement finishing, kitchen and bathroom renovations, custom home construction, and laneway or coach home projects.
• Prepare and maintain construction sites by erecting and dismantling scaffolding, ramps, barricades, and other temporary structures as required.
• Perform demolition work, remove rubble and construction debris, and clean and organize work areas to maintain a safe and efficient job site.
• Mix, pour, and spread construction materials such as concrete and mortar, and tend equipment including mixers, compressors, and pumps as directed.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, pneumatic hammers, vibrators, and tampers safely while assisting with general construction activities under the direction of supervisors.
• Follow workplace health and safety procedures, assist with site cleanup, and perform other general construction labour duties as assigned to support the timely completion of residential projects.
