Second Cup Cafe is looking for full-time Barista to join our busy team!

Position: Barista (NOC 65201)
Total Vacancies: 2
Terms of employment: Full time (30 to 40 hours per week)
Hourly wage: $15.35 to $17.00
Location: 2101 E Quance St, Regina SK S4V 3L9
Expected Start Date: ASAP

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
• Greet customers, take orders, and provide friendly and efficient counter service
• Prepare and serve hot and cold beverages, including coffee, espresso, tea, and specialty drinks
• Operate coffee-making equipment and other appliances safely and according to established procedures
• Prepare, portion, assemble, and package simple food items for dine-in and take-out orders
• Receive payments by cash, debit card, or credit card and accurately operate the point-of-sale system
• Respond to customer questions and communicate menu information, including available options and ingredients
• Restock cups, lids, ingredients, condiments, and other supplies and keep records of quantities used
• Maintain clean and sanitary counters, service areas, equipment, and customer areas
• Follow food safety, workplace safety, and company service standards
• Work cooperatively with team members to complete orders promptly during busy periods


Position Requirements and Qualifications
• Completion of secondary school; barista or food-service training is an asset
• Previous barista, cafe, customer service, or food counter experience is an asset; on-the-job training will be provided
