Job Details

Paladin Security (Vernon, BC) is looking for six (6) Full-Time Operator - Security Command Centre (NOC 64410)! This is a full-time, permanent position with 32-40 hours per week.
Job Description:
• Monitor alarm events, live incidents, and surveillance video
• Dispatch emergency services and security staff when needed
• Handle after-hours service requests and triage tech/system issues
• Maintain detailed incident logs and evidence reports
• Operate integrated software platforms (CCTV, Access Control, Intrusion)
• Manage high-volume communication via phone, email, and internal systems
• Conduct daily compliance audits
• Remain calm, organized, and professional in high-stress scenarios
• Other duties as required to meet operational needs

Job Requirements:
• Basic Security Licence or ability to obtain one
• Must have no police records
• Minimum 19 years old
• Previous experience in a security control centre, security access software, using integrated security systems is an asset
• Strong computer proficiency, especially in Microsoft Office; minimum typing speed of 40 wpm
• Positive customer service experience in a professional environment
• Strong time management, organizational, and prioritization skills
• Ability to work independently in high-pressure, fast-paced environments
• High level of discretion and confidentiality in handling sensitive information
• Language in the workplace is English
