Job Details

Hiro Landscaping Ltd. located at 137 Millard Avenue, Stouffville, Ontario is looking for a Landscape Labourer for; $17.00 per hour for 40.0 hours per week.


Job Type: Full-time, Seasonal (May - December)

 

Qualifications:


  • Must have a minimum of one year of experience in general landscaping

  • Basic English ability is required.

  • Completion of secondary school is required.

  • Valid Driver’s licence is required.

  • Knowledge and technique in Japanese “Zen” and Japanese Rock Garden landscaping is an asset


Job Description

Job Duties:

  • Move soil, equipment and materials, digs holes, and performs related duties.

  • Operate small engine equipment such as; mowers, chain-saws and bob-cats.

  • Builds forms for concrete borders, using lumber, hammer, and nails.

  • Mix and pour cement for garden borders

  • Places decorative stones and plants flowers in garden areas

  • Install rock gardens, ponds, decks, drainage systems, irrigation systems, retaining walls, fences or planters

  • Complete finishing duties to complete the landscape project 


Work Setting: Outdoors at client’s private residence (various locations in GTA)


Special condition:

  • Provide the relocation costs and assist the worker with accommodation (if applicable)

  • Provide health insurance at no cost until such time as the worker is eligible for applicable provincial health insurance (if applicable)

  • Provide Workplace Safety Insurance (Worker's Compensation)
